Power Foward: Terrance Jones With his second year in the NBA, Terrance Jones has been prospected for the NBA All-Star Roster, and has been named the youngest Rocket to score over 30 points in one game.
Center: Dwight Howard His first season with the rockets, combining wth James Harden, Dwight howard has been a huge impact offensively and deffensively. His first game, Howard scored 17 points, a carrer high 26 rebounds and 2 rebounds.
Small Forward: Chandler Parsons Drafted by the Rockets in 2011, Parsons has been named NBA All-Rookie Second Team following 2012 season. Also has a career high of 32 points against the Dallas Mavericks.
Shooting Guard: James Harden Traded to the Rockets in 2012 along with several other players from the Oklahoma City Thunder, for 2 first round picks and a second round pick, Harden was expected to be a foundational player for the Rockets. James Harden has fullfilled this role if not surpassed it, becoming Houston's lead player, scoring 37 points and 12 assists in his debut game with the Rockets. The first to do this since Hakeem Olajuwon. In his first season with the Rockets, he cored a career high of 46 points against his home team the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Point Guard: Jeremy Lin
After his first year in the NBA, Lin was traded to the Rockets, after they made an offer to Lin of $25 million over a three year period. Although Lin's performance the last year has decreased, he still remains in the starting position. With Patrick Beverly also playing at the point guard position, Lin is especially vitalized on the court whenever Harden is not on the court. With one year remaining on Lin's contract, no one knows if Houston will renew or trade him away.
