Uniforms
When the Rockets first started in San Diego, their uniform colors were green and gold. In 1971, when the Rockets moved to Houston, green was replaced with red, and the team logo was changed. The logo was changed again the next year, and used until after their 1995 championship, when the logo was changed to a more modernized, cartoon look which most NBA teams were going for, and the colors blue and silver were added to it. The logo was changed again in 2004 to a more simple look, and the blue and silver colors were removed, leaving just red and white. |
